At our January meeting, Marcella Nelson, founder of Breakthrough Coaching and Consulting, a business and career coaching firm, conducted a presentation on "Keys to Management Excellence" and received rave reviews. As a service to our members, the Tri-Town Business Association is pleased to announce that Marcella will be presenting a 2 ½ hour workshop that expands on the concepts she presented in January at a rate that is significantly discounted from her usual workshop fee.

The workshop will be presented at the conclusion of Tri-Town Business Association's annual meeting on May 18 from 9-11:30 AM at the Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, Rochester.

This workshop will cover some new topics and expand on the information covered in January with exercises and worksheets to help you implement the skills you learn. The topics include:

I. Goal Setting - Establish goals that ensure your success.
II. Determining Priorities - Identify and do the most important things first.
III. Planning & Scheduling - Plan for effectiveness. Make the time commitment.
IV. Taking Action - Stop procrastinating and just do it! Control your time traps.
V. Communications: Preparing & Managing Written Communications - Make your written communications clear and impactful and control communications overload.
Managing Meetings - Conduct productive meetings.
VI. Working Effectively with Others: Delegation - Implement effective delegation strategies, even if you work alone.
Teamwork - Get the most out of those you depend on.

This workshop is being offered at the greatly reduced rate of $39 for current Tri-Town Business Association members and $49 for non-members. We require a minimum of 10 pre-paid enrollees to run the workshop so we hope you'll spread the word.
